Rainforest

Mia learned about the rainforest in school.  As a culminating event, they had a rainforest extravaganza on Friday.  Students played games, completed arts and crafts, created a rainforest museum, had a pig roast, and interacted with live rainforest animals (including a sloth, lemur, and a 10 foot snake!).

Mia was a native girl selling her goods in the rainforest museum.

She also completed a large research project on the blue morpho butterfly.  Overall, Mia had a lot of fun learning about the importance of a very special place in our world.
