Fourth of July

Hot, hot, hot.  Over 100 degrees and sunny.  Thus, we were inside a lot of the day.  Went out to lunch at Houlihan's Restaurant with Grandma K, Kathy, and Brody.  The kids and I decided to brave the heat and check out the Chanhassen Fourth of July Fair.  We rode on the dizzy dragon ride (ugh- I strongly dislike spinning rides!) and they took a ride on their very first roller coaster.  Mia got the front car so she thought that was pretty amazing.  We ate snow cones to cool off and played a shark fishing game.  Mia chose a puppy stuffed animal for her prize and Logan picked out a shark.  Of course, we finished the night with cotton candy and mini-doughnuts.  It was sweaty good time.  The kids fell fast asleep before it was fireworks time so I watched them on tv with Brody and Kathy.  Happy Fourth!
