Gale Woods Farm

Since the weather finally cooled down a bit, we were able to get outside and enjoy MN.  We visited the Gale Woods Farm one Saturday morning to meet the animals and get a taste of farm chores.  Cousin Shyla, Grandma K, Brody, and Kathy joined us on our adventure.  The kids pet cows, piglets, chickens, chicks, turkeys, cats, and sheep.  They also collected chicken eggs and picked (and ate!) fruits and vegetables from the garden.  An entertaining puppet show put on by the kids and a bean bag game ended our wonderful day.  Mia especially loved eating the peas and touching the baby turkeys, but she didn't like walking through the tall grass.  Logan liked petting the sheep and looking at the big mama pig.  He also thought the shoe cleaner (to clean off all the poop!) was cool.  We think farms are pretty awesome.
